MAINTENANCE
Proper hair maintenance is very important in order to prevent breakage and to preserve the longevity of the hair. Hair tangling must be dealt with at the onset in order to prevent damage.
Dirt and sweat build-up may cause tangling.
Properly washing your hair is absolutely necessary.
Apply shampoo to roots only. Allow the soapy water when rinsing your hair to be enough of washing for the middle and ends of your hair.
Rinse thoroughly. Wring water from the hair.
Apply a deep conditioner to hair extensions being careful not to get any on the roots of the hair. Add a little water to conditioned hair and gently comb your hair with your fingers first, then with a detangling brush working your way up starting at the bottom or ends of the hair.
Never sleep with your hair wet. This will cause the extensions to tangle with your own hair overnight.
Always tie or braid your hair before going into chlorine or saltwater. Salt/chlorine water may change the hair color
Wash your hair with clarifying shampoo as soon as possible once exposed to chlorine or saltwater.
